Monica Grimes Portrait Design is a 2,500 square foot high-end portrait studio utilizing state of the art equipment for photographing and retouching.  Located on the campus of New Market's Shenandoah Valley Academy allows us to also venture outside to utilize brick walls, doorways and stairwells to create a urban styled look or the expansive fields to create a more traditional styled look.  Owner and professional photographer, Monica Grimes has a unique style that is widely recognized as one of Virginia's finest in portrait photography. Grimes's portrait art is the perfect complement to any interior design, with powerful angles and an emphasis on the beauty of natural expressions. Her clients enjoy a personalized experience from start to finish. A genuine love for photography and the people that she serves is a constant element in Grimes's business and life philosophy. Grimes attends a variety of industry events and seminars every year to keep her gear and techniques on the cutting edge.
